Puerto Escondido, a Hidden Gem

Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca boasts an active lifestyle with world-class surfing, cultural immersion, and healthy traditional Oaxacan cuisine. Flights to Puerto Escondido drop significantly during the fall, making it the perfect warm getaway before the holidays. During November, Puerto Escondido celebrates its “Fiesta de Noviembre,” which includes dance festivals, fishing tournaments, motocross tournaments, international surf tournaments, gastronomy, and concerts featuring international artists. Also, on November 2, Chila, a town 20 minutes away from Puerto Escondido, celebrates the last day of Day of the Dead with an evening parade where locals and visitors celebrate this uniquely Mexican tradition.
