Selfies & Swimsuits Secure CIIC Wins at 58th Annual HSMAI Adrian Awards

We are pleased to share that CIIC has once again been honored by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) at the 58th Annual Adrian Awards Gala that took place in New York City on February 23. Over the years, the HSMAI Adrian Awards competition has become known as the “Oscars” of the travel and hospitality industry, recognizing outstanding work in advertising, digital marketing and public relations.

This year we were thrilled to accept two awards on behalf of our client The Los Cabos Tourism Board. CIIC received a Bronze Digital Marketing award for a social media campaign, #CaboSurfSelfie, which took place in May & June 2014 to help promote the destination’s 6-star ASP qualifying surf competition. Additionally, CIIC was honored with a Bronze Public Relations award in the category of Partnership with a Major Brand for a campaign we crafted on behalf of the Los Cabos Tourism Board with luxury swimsuit retailer, Everything But Water. This campaign included a destination photo shoot as well as an in-store and online sweepstakes component.
